Gillingham
Our site at Gillingham was started in 1972. It has undergone numerous enlargements and improvements over the years and now boasts a car park for a dozen cars, large air-conditioned waiting room and three consult rooms. We have a pharmacy, laboratory, isolation area, cat ward, dog ward, preparation area, dedicated sterile operating theatre, a second operating theatre and a dedicated diagnostic imaging room.
We are open 7 days per week. We run both open surgeries, where you just come and wait your turn, and also booked appointments.
The surgery times at Gillingham are –
Monday-Friday 9-10 am and 5-7pm
Saturday 9-10am and 2-4pm
Sunday 11-12 noon and 4-5pm
Appointments can be made at other times during the day so please phone for availability.
Our out of hours emergency cover is supplied by an excellent firm of veterinarians who work out of a veterinary hospital in Maidstone. Thus there is a bit of travelling to be seen out of hours but the standard of care provided by “PETS” (Pets Emergency Treatment Services) is second to none and is worth the slight inconvenience. We liken a car journey for your pet to a sick or badly injured child who might have to go to Great Ormond Street Hospital. The journey is worth it.

You will notice that we are open on Sundays (see times above). There is no emergency surcharge for this service – simply our routine Sunday consult fee – and everybody is welcome.
