Ashford

Our site at Ashford was started in 1992. In 2009 we moved into our present palatial premises a few yards from the old surgery. We can match all the facilities at Gillingham – large air-conditioned waiting room and three consult rooms – a pharmacy, laboratory, isolation room, separate dog and cat wards, a large preparation area, a sterile operating theatre, a second operating theatre and a dedicated diagnostic imaging room. It also has the added advantage of being new and very beautiful!

At Ashford we are open 7 days per week. We run by appointment but that is not to say that you cannot just turn up at the surgery if necessary. We will always endeavour to help at anytime.

The surgery times are -

Monday - Friday 9am - 11.30am & 2pm to 7pm
Saturday 9am - 1pm
Sunday 10am - 1pm

Clients are also most welcome to visit Gillingham for the extended weekend hours offered there if required.

Our out of hours emergency cover is supplied by an excellent firm of veterinarians who work out of a veterinary hospital in Maidstone. Thus there is a bit of travelling in order to be seen out of hours but the standard of care provided by ʻPETSʼ (Pets Emergency Treatment Services) is second to none as is worth the slight inconvenience. We liken a car journey for your pet to a sick or badly injured child who might have to go to Great Ormond Street Hospital. The journey is worth it.

Phone Numbers you will need -

Ashford surgery: 01233 661099

If we are closed a recorded message will give you number for PETS, which is 01622 734054.

You will notice that we are open on Sundays (see times above) There is no emergency surcharge for this service simply our routine Sunday consult fee - and everybody is welcome.

We have invested heavily in the most up-to-date equipment and we have tried to make it into a one stop shop where pretty much all of your petʼs health requirements can be found under one roof- just like a BUPA hospital!

Our Veterinarians are experienced general practitioners with a broad knowledge and understanding of animal health, illnesses and injuries.
